Cinelease has serviced thousands of feature film and television productions with premier lighting and grip equipment and has built its reputation with over 40 years of exceptional service to the studios and independent production companies.             

 

Primarily responsible for the processing of orders and payables into two different accounting systems.  Monitor both accounts receivable and account payable for the division to ensure transactions are being timely processed.  Also responsible for tracking revenue share, rebates and commissions to third party customers, which includes calculations based on executed agreements, processing payments to customers and providing the calculated information for recording to the general ledger. Secondary responsibility includes maintaining and tracking all associated agreements, provide reporting and support detail to management and customers as required, and aid in any research or questions that relate to the commission process.

           

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for calculating revenue share, rebate and commissions on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis using Excel
  • Downloading data from accounting systems to prepare calculations
  • Review executed agreements for business terms from agreements to create new calculation work sheets        
  • Provide completed calculations to Management for review and recording into the general ledger.
  • Create all payment supporting reporting required by third parties and payment processing
  • Process payment requisitions for approval
  • Maintain all agreements and records associated with revenue share, rebates and commissions     
  • Provide all additional supporting documents as required by third parties
  • Assist in any audits related to this calculation process
  • Conduct research and answer questions as required

Conditions of Employment

3 years experience in related field focused on accounts payables and general bookkeeping
1 to 2 years of basic administrative experience in a large, fast-paced office environment
Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to engage in natural verbal interaction with customers
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to walk into unfamiliar environments and adjust rapidly to the setting
  • Attention to detail and solid organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Multi-task on multiple assignments within a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service focused
  • Solid 10 Key skill set and data entry background
  • Strong typing skills (35 WPM)
