Short Description

Develop company’s full line of small tool equipment into 15 branch stores. Work with local branch management, sales staff and mechanic staff to develop product knowledge and inventory levels of equipment and accessories for rental. Requires frequent travel to branches to establish product knowledge and culture of small tool equipment rental. Work with Herc Rentals corporate Pro Contractor Tool team on roll out of new store designs, product orientation, training, etc.

Responsibilities

Requires extensive travel in Southern California. Overnight travel is not necessary but available if needed. Can office out of any Southern California company location and live anywhere in Southern California

Professional Experience

Expertise and knowledge of small tool equipment in the following trades: concrete, masonry, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, general construction
Must be knowledgeable in the common use of this equipment including its application as well as bulk accessories that are used for its application.
2-3 years’ experience in the above required.
Must have good communication skills, able to travel to a branch network of stores in Southern California and train and inform staff on product application and customer uses of equipment for rental.

Educational Background

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s degree or experience in lieu of degree will be considered
