Short Description
CINELEASE, INC., the entertainment industry’s leader in lighting and grip equipment rentals servicing production companies throughout the US, owned by our publicly held Parent Company HERC Rentals, is seeking a Service Technician at our Atlanta, GA hub.

Primarily responsible repairing electrical lighting rental equipment and the applicable accessories of various manufacturers and various types and sizes, with main goal to return the equipment back into rental inventory as efficiently as possible. Repair process includes trouble shooting the unit, diagnose the problem, coordinate the ordering of replacement parts, and completing the repair. Secondarily responsibility is to provide customer support directly to customers in the field on issues relating nonworking equipment.

Responsibilities
Responsible for repairing electrical equipment and related accessories that is delegated by Shop Supervisor by the timelines provided.
Follow all prescribed manufacturer or electrical industry guidelines for trouble shooting and diagnosing problems with the equipment and repairing the equipment.
Maintain the required electrical repair certifications as required by the Company.
Work with all required PPE and use proper lifting techniques as required by Company policy, always keeping safety a top priority when processing all repairs within the Repair Department.
Provide Shop Foreman/Purchase Agent proper list of replacement parts that are needed to repair equipment in a timely manner.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner free of any hazardous materials, and make sure equipment to be repaired is properly organized and maintained as prescribed by Company Policy.
Properly complete all required incoming and outgoing repair paperwork as prescribed by Company policy.
Input any required information into the Company’s computerized inventory tracking system that may be required when processing equipment for repairs.
Opening and closing of buildings as required.
Interact with customers, as required by Shop Supervisor, by telephone or in-house meetings to assist in trouble shoot nonworking equipment to provide solutions to their questions or issues.
Initiate request for replacement parts for future and assist with keeping and maintaining a required level on parts on hand.
Answer and assist the Purchase Agent with processing warranty claims from the manufacturer.
Assist in determining what electrical equipment is required to be sent out to third party vendors for repair and assist in the coordination of that process.
Assist in any special projects a delegated by Shop Supervisor.
Maintain a good attitude and exercise team work at all times during the work day and at the work place.
