Short Description

CINELEASE, INC., the entertainment industry’s leader in lighting and grip equipment rentals servicing production companies throughout the US, owned by our publicly held Parent Company HERC Rentals, is seeking a Studio Finance Manager at our Atlanta, GA Business Hub.

Cinelease has serviced thousands of feature film and television productions with premier lighting and grip equipment and has built its reputation with over 40 years of exceptional service to the studios and independent production companies.    

The Job:

Responsible for managing, maintaining and overseeing the financial activity of the Company’s Studio business. These specific duties include maintaining internal financial reporting, preparing and analyzing budgets, establishing and maintaining studio policies and operating procedures, and provide Management the essential financial information and analysis to make decisions on new ventures. In addition, will assist and oversee the processing of daily studio transactions including billing, payables, receivables and revenue and expense summaries and data support. 

Responsibilities

  • Develops, oversees and maintains Studio operating budget and assists in Studio planning process and business cases for new ventures.
  • Providing financial analysis to Studio Management Team to support Company’s ROI and financial operating business plans.
  • Establishes, monitors and enforces financial procedures and controls for Studio business based upon Corporate guidelines.
  • Prepares special reports and operating data by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Interacts with customers and vendors on the phone, email, and in-person.
  • Coordinates information flow for billing, cost reports, and payables with Corporate HQ.
  • Assists in the processing and accuracy of customer billings.
  • Monitors and maintains the renewals on studio customer insurance policies.
  • Assist in the review studio management, lease, license or revenue share agreements. 

Professional Experience

4+ years’ experience in finance or accounting.
Comprehensive knowledge of all finance, financial planning, corporate finance and accounting areas of a business.
Financial and/or commercial management role in a public company or Division of major international U.S. public company
3 to 5 years of entertainment industry experience

Educational Background

BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
CPA and/or MBA required
