Short Description

Provide financial and operational planning, analysis and business reporting to managers of the business.  Assist with HERC activities for all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis.  Help to create monthly current estimates by analyzing Field estimates and speaking with Region Business Partners about trends and business issues.  Aid the accounting group with month-end close duties.  Responsible for monthly reporting processes and will assist with accurate and timely submission of schedules for meetings/presentations.  Provide support and analysis for annual Business Plan and Strategic Plans.

  • As a Financial Analyst, you will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projection processes.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Tracking expenses and revenues vs. budget and forecast and analyze fluctuations
  • Preparing, distributing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately
  • Assisting in the budget & forecast process
  • Performing reconciliation of internal accounts
  • Maintaining budget and forecast information in the accounting system
  • Evaluating profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
  • Developing, maintaining and distributing ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 2-4 years of experience in field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT.  Data mining and report development is required
  • Knowledge of Accounting structures
  • Working experience with Journal Entries, General Ledgers, Month-end close and Account Reconciliations
  • Superior analytical, research and presentation ability
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required across a diverse cross-functional environment
  • Intellectual curiosity is a must
  • Travel may be required (5-10%)

Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting, Finance or Economics
