Short Description

An industry leader in the Bonita Springs, FL Herc Rentals is seeking a Fleet Procurement Analyst. The position is responsible for assisting in the strategic management of fleet procurement strategies, sourcing activities and ensuring the corporate programs are communicated and monitored to meet company objectives. Categories to include but are not limited to supplier management processing of fleet and non-fleet procurement.

This position requires significant ‘customer first’ mindset, strong organizational ability, keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. In addition, the role requires high-levels of adaptability and maturity.

Responsible for day-to-day management of the Accou

  • Understand and support the procurement process from purchasing to payables
  • Monitoring/Managing category spend through report technology
  • Supplier Management and continuous evaluation / assessment of supplier performance, ensuring consistency of service, quality, and compliance to contracts and established service level agreements.
  • Assist in benchmarking of internal and external costs against industry and competitive standards
  • Ability to think strategically; excellent project management, facilitation and interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
  • Ability to build strategic supplier relationships, lead project teams and work effectively in a complex business environment. Anticipates and identifies internal customer needs and recommends solutions to complex situations.

Professional Experience

Experience with ERP and inventory systems or similar platforms (i.e. Oracle, RentalMan,)
Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
Attention to detail and excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field, or experience in lieu
