Short Description
The Learning Experience Design (LXD) Associate supports the Learning & Development team to identify and implement digital learning materials and programs to a variety of audiences. The LXD Associate will participate in the design, development, and delivery of instructional content including learning journeys, programs, assessments, multimedia content, and print materials. This role will cross-functionally collaborate with Project Managers and SMEs to develop internal materials for the Herc Rental’s Learning Management System (LMS) and Intranet Page.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design/redesign of online and digital learning courses and related learning activities
- Assist in the setup of courses within the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Contribute to the technical development of eLearning projects through all stages of the project lifecycle
- Participate in the quality review of online course designs
- Support the planning, development, and delivery of training
- Update user guides, intranet pages, and content as required
- Actively learn new techniques and procedures to enhance company learning design practices

Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Experience in Articulate Storyline 360 preferred but not required
- Experience in LMS platforms
- Experience using tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Captivate or equivalent
- Utilize AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) to manage and update Internal Websites
- Excellent communication skills and organization skills
- Self-started, highly motivated
- Adapts quickly and easily in fast paced environment
