Short Description

The Learning & Development Business Partner will be responsible for developing and conducting both operational and business skills training to internal customers across the company in a dynamic and fast paced equipment rental business. The Business Partner will interact with field management to assess training needs, coordinate and schedule training in assigned area of responsibility. The Business Partner will manage various inhouse Learning & Development project initiatives from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and identify program learning content and materials supporting multiple modalities
  • Communicate with region management to assess learning needs and deliver effective training
  • Schedule and conduct instructor led training to include both virtual and classroom
  • Deliver virtual and in classroom training using Cisco WebEx and MS Teams software
  • Assess needs and develop curriculums & programs that enhance employee professional skills
  • Travel to training facilities to conduct required training for field personnel
  • Program Management to include content development, demand planning and reporting
  • Consult and support District and Branch Managers regarding performance management including feedback and coaching points for employees upon request
  • Consult with operations as requested on SOPs, special projects, and process improvements

Requirements

    Professional Experience

    Understands adult learning principles
    Understands project management principles and application
    Ability to effectively develop and build talent of employees
    Broad rental fleet knowledge including use of equipment
    Proficiency with all currently used technology systems

    Educational Background

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience. Specific education in training/teaching/development is a plus.
