Job Purpose

Perform various administrative duties for company-wide procurement programs for North America. This role serves as a compliance review and administrative checkpoint for HERC Rentals purchasing processes and duties involve administration of non-Fleet Catalog, Requisitions and Purchase Order records and Vehicles Management. This position will also provide user support for issues that are submitted to our department email account, resulting in additional user training, error resolution, or acceleration to service requests. This position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements and cost saving initiatives within the Procure to Pay organization related to these programs.

  • P-Card & Fuel card programs
  • Purchasing system administration
  • Procurement Ops User support
  • Business process Improvement
  • Travel & expense administration
  • Administrate, report and improve processes
  • Vehicle Management 
  • Monitor group email, assist users, report metrics
  • Identify potential, participate in projects

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree

Professional Experience

1 - 3 year of relatable experience
1 year of customer service or support experience preferred
Accounting experience is preferred

Knowledge

Ability to effectively communicate complex situations via email/telephone
Desktop Computer Skills Should have understanding of computer systems
Purchasing and Negotiating

Skills

  • Mathematical aptitude mandatory
  • Problem solving skills/experience mandatory
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools-advanced Excel skills for data query reporting mandatory
  • Project Management preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills mandatory
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills mandatory
