Short Description

As a CRC Driver and Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivery and set up of our Climate and Remediation equipment at customer sites. This role is perfect for you if you are looking for an opportunity where you enjoy being on the road and working with your hands outdoors. Successful CRC Driver and Service Technicians excel and place value on the following:

Safely delivering, loading/unloading and installing the equipment we rent (Pumps, Power & Temperature Control)

Providing excellent customer service and providing solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

Planning – Plan your daily delivery and pick-up schedule according to business needs

Yard Prep – Making Sure all rental equipment and necessary material is prepped and ready for shipment.

Communication – Represent Herc Rentals in communicating with the customers, Sales and internal resources.

Maintain tools and necessary supplies to successfully complete projects.

Documentation of projects from daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, Change Orders and all other necessary documentation as part of the protocol for each project.

Assist with cleanliness of shop and yard and ready Rental equipment when not assigned a project.

Performs other duties assigned as assigned by the manager.

Attends all training and manufacturing training as directed

Requirements

    Professional Experience

    Educational Background

    H.S. Diploma or equivalent

    Conditions of Employment

    Minimum 1 year work experience using mechanical/technical skills
    Basic Equipment knowledge and troubleshooting – pumps, generators, power distribution, and temperature control
    Required to lift up to 40 pounds and continuously carry 5 pounds
    Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles, CDL is a Plus
    Must be at least 21 years old
