Short Description

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and acting as a single point of contact for strategic accounts within a specified district, region or cluster of branches. In this key role, you will increase our company's market share and grow a strategic account customer base. You may also be assigned large projects or be tasked with prospecting large projects.

As our primary contact for strategically important large customers, you will leverage your sales skills and savvy to completely understand and anticipate the needs of these key clients and address them promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue with a select group of companies within the industrial segment
  • Daily account management and revenue growth through visits to various customer offices, facilities, and job sites.
  • Develop, plan, and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.
  • Effective implementation of industrial services concepts, products, and services.
  • Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricing.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Assist branches in keeping abreast with customer changes and job site problems.
  • Support all team members.

Educational Background

Bachelor - Business Administration

Conditions of employment

  • 5 + years of sales experience, preferably in branch or sales management, with large account experience or Sr. Sales Representative internal company experience
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and research skills
  • Highly motivated to succeed even when setbacks occur
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
