Short Description

CINELEASE, INC., the entertainment industry’s leader in lighting and grip equipment rentals servicing production companies throughout the US, owned by our publicly held Parent Company HERC Rentals, is seeking a Studio Client Relations Manager.    

Company Description

Cinelease is the largest independent motion picture equipment rental house in the USA, with our company headquarters in Los Angeles and multiple branch locations throughout the country. Cinelease has serviced thousands of feature film and television productions with premier lighting and grip equipment and has built its reputation with over 40 years of exceptional service to the studios and independent production companies.             

Primary focus will be to act as the principal liaison for Production, vendor, and community related requests, questions, and concerns. This will include coordinating and negotiating with multiple customers and clients and maintaining clear logs and records pertinent to all studio related activities. Secondary area of focus will be as a general ambassador for Cinelease/HES brands to support and strengthen current customer and client relationships.  



  • Markets and promotes Cinelease Studio and HES Operations and related resources to Production Companies and associated departments to procure rental customers and clients. 
  • Interfaces directly with the Production Representatives both at the Studio and individual Production level during the exploratory and booking process. 
  • Maintains and tracks Production facility holds, inquires, and leads on a weekly basis.  
  • With Cinelease/HES and Studio operation collaboration, negotiates with Production for booking particulars, timeline, and booking package needs.   
  • Prepares and presents detailed quotes and proposals to Production companies based on infrastructure and ancillary requirements 
  • Arranges License Agreements and Rental Agreements for incoming customers and clients 
  • Maintains detailed on-lot activity logs and documentation to develop logistical interpretational skills in order to implement analytical strategies for future bookings. 
  • Tracks and records all Production related purchase orders and coordinates with Accounting for upcoming and reoccurring billings. 
  • Schedules post-wrap consultation meetings with Production to assess Operation services and discuss future bookings and holds. 
  • Establishes and maintains solid relationships with the local film community, diverse businesses and vendors and high-profile Production company executives 
  • Provides in-depth facility tours to Production, the educational community, and local organizations in order to effectively promote and develop a well-informed local community and continued education and outreach. 
  • Designs, organizes, and implements marketing and promotional projects and materials with Cinelease/HES and Studio Operation support. 

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
