Short Description

Responsible for the orderly and efficient operation of the warehouse. Assist shop foreman by ensuring that rental and sales orders are completed in a safe, accurate, cost effective and timely manner.  Duties include delegation and supervision of warehouse personnel, safeguarding warehouse assets, overseeing maintenance and repair of rental and facility equipment, create and maintain a safe clean working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Delegates rental orders and stock checks to proper warehouse personnel
  • Coordinates equipment stock checks with the rental agents and procurement agents.
  • Assist with implementation and maintance of RFID process for future warehouse operations.
  • Train and assist warehouse employees with log-in issues and company mandated training.
  • Responsible for proper delegation of sub-rental equipment distribution and timely returns.
  • Instruct, assist and train warehouseman in best practices of equipment handling and safety.  
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the various departments always have the parts and tools necessary to keep the shop and warehouse activities flowing smoothly.
  • Maintain the Company’s safety culture and promote a safe work environment and in compliance with all local safety regulations. (Help with TBSMs, Daily Observations and Building inspections)
  • Responsible for scheduling forklift and electric pallet jack training for warehouse employees.
  • Available for on-call duties at least one week of every other month.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the shop and making sure everything is in order at the beginning and at the end of the day.
  • Supervise the labeling and logo placement on new gear and the quality control on the old gear removal and re-painting of our company logo.
  • As the company grows be available for additional duties as they arise or delegated
