Short Description

Herc Rentals strives to be the employer and supplier of choice in our industry. Our Surrey ProSolutions location is currently looking for a Territory Sales Representative to come and join their team.  The successful candidate will be a go-getter, uncovering new opportunities in which to sell while having the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals in their designated territory. The Sales representative’s goal is to maximize revenue for the branch and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and branch revenue
  • Establishing new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer sites
  • Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree required

Conditions of Employment

  • Must have minimum 3 years sales experience in power generation, climate control, remediation and restoration.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Proficient with computers
  • Exceptional organizations skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
