Short Description

We are currently seeking an Equipment Sandblaster/Assistant Painter to perform sandblasting, prep and paint work to our rental and fleet equipment, as well as in-house fabricated items.

Responsible for day-to-day management of the Accou

  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for sandblasting and painting.
  • Prep equipment for painting via sand blasting, soda blasting and various grinding and sanding equipment.
  • Set up and operate sandblasting equipment.
  • Prep equipment for painting via hand washing and power washing.
  • Prep equipment in relation to bodywork, i.e. trim removal, masking, grinding and block sanding.
  • Assist with priming and painting of equipment as required.
  • Apply decals and stencils as required.
  • Complete required paperwork for ordering of parts and record-keeping.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all Company Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

Conditions of Employment

Must be physically fit and have experience working in a shop or construction environment
Familiarity with power tools and basic mechanical aptitude
Must have valid and clean driver’s license
Excellent communication skills (English) in both oral and written
Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Able to work overtime and/or weekends when required to complete necessary tasks
