Short Description
The Tool Technician- Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial is an integral part of the branch’s team. An individual in this position will work to keep all equipment in top running condition through rental inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to the equipment. This individual will repair equipment as necessary. This position requires a working knowledge of tools and specialized equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
Responsibilities
- Safety Awareness: Understands, follows, and motivates individuals to follow the safety rules and regulations.
- Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
- Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental equipment used on large commercial construction sites as well as industrial facilities
- Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
- Year-round company provided OEM training
- Qualified to operate, inspect, and test manual, pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic powered tools.
- Qualified to operate, inspect, and test hoisting, electric welding, and torquing tools.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Perform light repairs on tools and light equipment associated with parts replacement such as fittings, or other parts which require limited diagnostics.
- Perform preventative maintenance and certification.
- Must own tools applicable to position

Compensation Data
$26/hr to $30/hr
