Role Description

This position is responsible for understanding and assessing the changing needs of the business, analyzing the impacts of change, document and support communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capture requirements needed to initiate a change. This position acts as liaisons between groups or departments, works as an intermediary who help support and translate needs across business units and functions. This position will also work with the Technical Analyst and development teams to ensure that they understand the specifications, conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating business processes, gathering requirements
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Working closely with clients, tech leads, and managerial staff.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Experience in running SQL or Queries in IBM AS400/iSeries is highly desirable
  • Technically savvy – understands webservices, API, FTP, Integration tools and terminologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or related field
  • Formal training in disciplines of Business Analysis and/or Project Management
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience strongly preferred
