Cash Manager

Short Description

The primary mission of the Shared Services Cash Manager is to ensure timely and accurate cash application, timely Non-PO payment requests, maximize cash flow, manage SOX/compliance, provide leadership to the Shared Services Cash team, maximize working capital, and minimize Days Sales Outstanding "DSO". This position reports directly to the Sr Director of Accounts Receivable. You will train/mentor teams to meet and exceed departmental objectives and goals, approving account refunds, KPI reporting, performance management and other duties as assigned by management.  Excellent communication skills with internal and external teams and attention to detail are required to maximize returns with Customers and Suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Leadership Role with Billtrust to continue to improve various metrics, cash reporting, match rate with Billtrust and to facilitate automatic cash application.
• Driving Unapplied and Unidentified Cash root cause analysis amongst team by providing training and mentoring
• Manage and prepare Daily and Month End Bank reconciliations.
• Manage Team Performance to Established Goals and Objectives
• Ongoing development of team members
• Maintain awareness of metrics and deliverables among team members
• Utilize appropriate judgment in processing adjustments, credit moves resolving unapplied/unidentified customer payments and refunds.
• Manage and maintain records for Returned Checks, Electronic Payment returns and Credit Card Chargebacks.
• Manage Check Fraud Process
• Manage bi-weekly payment runs to suppliers.
• Oversee non-PO payment request process to ensure everything receives proper DOA approval and is processed timely.
• Run weekly forecasts for treasury and help manage cash position.
• Manage escheatment process for (all) Shared Services.
• Manage process of 1099 issuance and state and federal reporting
• Manage escalations for internal/external customers.
• Act as a Liaison between third party vendors (Billtrust and Banks)
• Escalate any Billtrust issues directly to Billtrust-update issue tracker.
• Weekly and quarterly Billtrust Access reviews for SOX Compliance
