Short Description
This position is responsible for analyzing, advising, and managing worker’s compensation, general liability, property and auto claims. It also involves performing thorough review for proper claim strategy to ensure that the TPA adheres to Best Practice claims management and reserving of assigned liability and worker’s compensation claims.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of third-party claims by the TPA within agreed technical and service standards
- Create strategy, coordinate offers/demands and facilitate the authorization of settlements to achieve the most cost-effective outcome
- Report all claims exceeding authority level to the Claims Manager in the agreed format and follow the direction given
- Provide information on incident frequency/severity and make recommendations to management
