Short Description

The Facilities Contract Manager, Herc, is responsible for developing a strategy to review, create and standardize all service contracts (where applicable) across the entire Herc portfolio. This role reports to the Director of Facilities and Construction and works closely with Real Estate, Procurement, Legal and Accounts Payable team(s).  The manager will be the main point of contact for all contracts and day-to-day coordination between the FSC, Branches and Service Providers/Vendors.  The principal objective is to manage contract development (develop scope/schedule, contract duration, terms/conditions, etc.), contract compliance, financial oversight, to recommend improvements, obtain annual costs savings and to ensure service delivery to a safe and quality standard, delivered in a consistent manner and appropriate to business needs.


  • Review existing Service Agreements that are currently in place and provide recommendations for additions/subtractions/changes/etc. 
  • Prepare a spreadsheet to track each agreement and vendor with a summary of their Contract terms (scope, contract duration, etc.)
  • Identify areas for improvement
    • New areas/services to focus on
    • Improved processes and contracts
    • Standardizing contracts
    • Utilizing national vendors across the entire Herc portfolio (where applicable)
  • Assist the procurement team in preparing “standardized” Request for Proposals (RFP’s) for multiple services to multiple vendors for existing commodity types along with new categories.
  • Identify new vendors that may fit into the proper business category, by reviewing their background, reviewing work history, checking references, etc.
  • Selection of vendors for the appropriate service.
  • Monitor and oversee all services and be the Owner/Point of Contact, on Herc’s behalf to all Service Provider


    Professional Experience

    Educational Background

    Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
