Short Description

The Fleet Analyst’s responsibility is to ensure used equipment sales through wholesale, OEM sales and auction sales channels are properly recorded. The position will be based out of Bonita Springs, FL, reporting to the Manager, Fleet Operations. This position will have significant interactions with regional fleet, operations, and sales personnel. This individual will be following up with field operations staff to ensure sales are recorded timely.


  • Track and invoice all sales to OEMs
  • Ensure Sales accounts are properly set up with OEMs
  • Follow up with OEMs on equipment that has not been picked up
  • Analyze disposals for recommended pricing adjustments
  • Follow up with field operations to ensure equipment is available to be sold
  • Timely invoice and reconcile of all auction sales and work as liaison with auctioneers
  • Report out on progress of sales across all channels
  • Assist with pricing requests for used equipment using set disposal criteria
  • Analyze fleet categories to optimize fleet levels at Herc locations.
  • Execution of underperforming asset reduction initiatives to increase fleet performance
  • Support ad hoc requests, as needed

Professional Experience

Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work under tight deadlines

Educational Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree
