Job Purpose
Those who are skilled in the use of tools but who lack experience and skill necessary for the maintenance, repair and rebuilding of Contractors equipment and generally help a Class "A" or Class "B" Mechanic.
Also includes those who are experienced in the maintenance, repair and rebuilding of engines sold, serviced, and repaired by the Employer and who need supervision for the successful performance of their duties.
What you will do...
- Help with pre-processes of finished goods
- Deburr pieces from waterjet, sandblasting & general clean up
- Help to load and unload internal truck drivers, outside haulers and customers
- Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy
- Review orders and stage equipment for drivers
- Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order
- Maintain and clean and organized yard and work area
- Answer and resolve customer questions
- Provide customers with expert advice on the selection, operation and maintenance of all the various types of equipment
- Support all team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- 1 - 3 year of relatable experience
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach overhead; bend, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for extended periods of time

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Programs

Pay Range: Union Rate: $41.10 per hour
