Short Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Pro Contractor Tool Representative (PCT Rep). The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our extensive range of hand tools, air compressors, portable generators, compaction tools, concrete cutting and drilling equipment, electrical tray tools, and lawn landscaping products to professional contractors.
Responsibilities
- Daily Branch and Sales interaction
- Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them, collaboratively with Territory Sales Reps
- Develop and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals
- Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis
- Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately and guiding Sales Reps to do the same
- Understand and be able to teach about all ProContractor tools, bulk, and their applications
- Drive mechanic ownership/buy in and oversee rental-tool-stewardship accountability (Appearance/Functionality)
- Develop and enhance ProContractor tool customer experience
- Develop rapport with OEM representatives
- Be the champion for the ProContractor Tools line of equipment by partnering with branch employees within your assigned major market.
- Train branch employees on best practices including the following
- Product knowledge
- Equipment Showroom display and condition
- Profitability
Professional Experience
Educational Background
Conditions of Employment
- Previous experience in the small tool industry is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
- Valid G driver’s license and a recent abstract will be required
Compensation Data
- $65K plus commission.
- Company truck with gas card and expense card
